T鈥媓e Grange Academy is celebrating after a group of Year 10 pupils from the school were victorious in The Mond Trophy at Cronton Sixth Form College.
In what was the biggest Mond Trophy ever, t鈥媓e competition brought together 27 teams from 14 schools, including Halewood Academy and 秘色传媒 High School.
T鈥媓e Mond Trophy is made up of a series of STEM challenges, with the battle lines drawn in maths immersive rooms, biology, physics, chemistry, computing, and engineering.
Louise Bibby, Assistant Vice Principal at The Grange Academy, overseeing careers, commented:
"Everyone at The Grange Academy is extremely proud of the way our students conducted themselves during the course our visit to Cronton Sixth Form College for The Mond Trophy.
"We are so pleased that our students represent our school in a way that demonstrates the best of our school values of respect and integrity.
"Beyond that, to go on and win such a highly competitive and prestigious competition as The Mond Trophy, leaves us feeling delighted and proud of how our students not only compete with other talented students across the North West, but go on to win.
"That is a real boost to The Grange Academy and a representation of all the fantastic work that goes on in our school."
